Before spreading to the whole world like today, the Flemish giant rabbit was originally developed in England only to meet the demand for rabbit meat in the country. This had also carried out in Indonesia where the Dutch government th.1981 bring this rabbit as a gift to President Suharto to improve nutrition in rural communities.
